Round-table discussion “State youth policy – a guarantee of the future” held
Dedicated to the year “Independent, permanently Neutral Turkmenistan – the homeland of the Akhal-Teke horse”, a round-table discussion entitled “State youth policy – a guarantee of the future” was organised jointly by the Lebap regional library and the Turkmenabat City Council of the Magtymguly Youth Organisation of Turkmenistan. In their speeches, the participants noted that, thanks to the tireless efforts of our respected President, all the necessary conditions are being created for the happy youth, the masters of our people's bright future, to grow up as well-rounded individuals who are learned, educated, broad-minded and versed in the latest achievements of technology in line with world standards. The implementation of youth policy at a modern level embodies all these features. The work carried out in this area by the Turkmenabat City Council of the Magtymguly Youth Organisation of Turkmenistan together with our library is also of great importance. Speaking of the duties and rights of young people, the Law of Turkmenistan “On State Youth Policy”, in force in our powerful country, is of very great significance. This Law fully defines the legal foundations, goals, tasks, principles, main directions, measures and mechanisms for the successful implementation of state youth policy in Turkmenistan. In accordance with the norms established in the country, young people include pupils, students, young specialists working in various sectors of the national economy, young entrepreneurs, young scientists and young married couples. The great importance of this law lies in the fact that, taking into account the great progress of the Turkmen state today and its glorious future, it is aimed at fully ensuring the social protection of young people.
