District stage of the "Wisdom adorns the word, art adorns the music" song and music contest held among pupils of grades 10–12 of secondary schools of Darganata district
Our people, who have made peace and humanism, friendship and goodwill their guiding principles, create inspired songs and music through musical instruments that call for respect for the human being, show the way to a happy life, increase great pride in the Motherland and the people, and help bring up generations in the lofty spirit of patriotism and humanism.
The Darganata district Council of the Magtymguly Youth Organisation of Turkmenistan in Lebap region held the district stage of the "Wisdom adorns the word, art adorns the music" song and music contest among boys and girls studying in grades 10–12 of secondary schools of Darganata district.
The jury of the contest included Firuza Bagtyyarova, acting chairperson of the Darganata district Council of the MYOT of Lebap region; Yolly Allaberdiyeva, chief specialist of the organisational department of the Darganata Council of the MYOT of Lebap region; Elmira Jorayeva, singer of the Darganata district House of Culture; Oraz Orazov, bakhshi teacher at the Children's Art School; and Ahmet Bagtyyarov, music teacher at secondary school No. 5 of Darganata district.
A total of 16 pupils took part in the contest.
The winners of the district stage were Mukam Rahmedov, a pupil of grade 10 "B" of secondary school No. 13 of Darganata district, who took first place; Serdar Aymyradov, a pupil of grade 11 "A" of secondary school No. 3 of Darganata district, who took second place; and Arzuv Kakayeva, a pupil of grade 12 "Ch" of secondary school No. 12 of Darganata district, who took third place.
All participants of the contest were awarded encouragement gifts. The pupils who won the contest were presented with souvenirs and certificates of honour by the Darganata district Council of the Magtymguly Youth Organisation of Turkmenistan in Lebap region.
