New building complex of the Turkmen State Pedagogical Institute to be put into operation in September
It is planned to complete and put into operation in September 2026 the new building complex of the Turkmen State Pedagogical Institute named after Seyitnazar Seydi, whose construction is currently in its final stage. The construction of the new 5,000-seat building complex in Turkmenabat is being carried out by the "Nahal" economic society, a member of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan. This was reported in the electronic newspaper "Altyn asyr".
As noted in the report, the completion of the main construction work on the buildings of this modern educational institution, located on an area of about 26 hectares, and the high pace of interior finishing work testify that this economic society will come to the new academic year with a festive gift.
The new campus of the higher education institution includes an administrative and academic building with assembly halls for 700 and 200 seats, 2 academic buildings for the faculties, a 12-apartment residential building for teachers, 5 dormitories for 2,000 students, a 1,000-seat canteen, a 700-seat library, a 500-seat stadium, a sports hall and 3 sports grounds, and open and covered car parks for 200 vehicles each. The project also includes utility and other technical and service buildings.
At present, the main construction work has been completed, and interior finishing and wall cladding work is under way. Construction materials produced in Turkmenistan and imported from the developed countries of the world are being used in the construction and finishing of the buildings. It should be noted that the placement of furniture has begun in the dormitories within the complex.
Preparations are under way to install, in the near future, advanced technologies imported from the United States of America, Britain, Japan, Germany, China, Italy, Turkey and other developed countries of the world in all the buildings of the complex.
